PVC celebrate another successful year

Yesterday Preston Vocational Centre celebrated the success of the school and sixth form learners and the end of the 2020/21 academic year with the Annual Awards Evening (the doorstep version). Members of the PVC tutor team visited the ten award winners with their trophies and congratulated them on such a great achievement.

A massive congratulations and well done to all the young people who have worked very hard this year to achieve their BTEC Level 1 in Construction qualifications.

Our Centre manager, Martin Grayston, commended the winners:

“Congratulations to all our students who have worked so hard and gained a recognised qualification despite going through one of the most challenging years for generations. It is wonderful to see so many of our young people gaining new skills, seeing their confidence grow and watching them develop into productive and respectful members of society. I am extremely proud of them as I am of my team who have worked really hard to support each and every one of them.”

His words were echoed by Mick Higgins, Chair of the Board who sent his best wishes for those starting out their construction journeys, you can watch the video here.
