Alternative Education: 14-16 Schools Individual or Group Placements
The aim of our alternative education programme is to take a holistic approach for tackling social exclusion by supporting young people who are disengaged with school. We do this by offering opportunities outside the classroom and working on pupil’s personal and social development. Our programme engages some of the hardest to reach by using construction techniques that combines prolonged focus, personal interest, sense of achievement and self-confidence. This programme can deliver a City and Guilds Level 1 Qualification in Construction Skills (QCF).
Eligibility Criteria: Year 9, 10 & 11 pupils / Referred through school.
