A Big Thank You

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR SUPPORTERS AND PARTNERS FOR MAKING OUR WORK POSSIBLE. Without our generous partners, sponsors and supporters, our success to date would not have been possible.

In February this year we celebrated our 10th anniversary, and thanks to our wonderful partners across Lancashire, we continue to go from strength to strength. Our partners include Larches High School, Shaftsbury High School, The Acorns Centre, Accrington Academy, Aurora Brambles, Broughton High School, Fulwood Academy, Great Arley School, Moor Park High School, Moorbrook School, Moor Hey School, Our Lady’s High School, Red Rose School, Rose School, Roselyn House School, St Bedes Catholic High School, Sir Tom Finney School, St Thomas Centre and Hope High School.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to Conlon Construction and Four Acre Trust who matched-funded our Big Give Christmas Fundraising Campaign. Thanks to their support and the generous donations from all of our supporters, we have been able to deliver our Festival of Building Skills programme to local communities throughout Preston this year.

Special thanks are also given to Thomas Consulting, who are supporting PVC as their designated charity for 2019. Sharon Roscoe, from Thomas Consulting, has been entrusted with holding events such as a Charity Dinner and Bingo to raise money for our centre.

Also, a very special thank you to all of our volunteers who regularly support our centre. This includes Helen, who makes us the most delicious cakes every Monday, JFN security who provided a bespoke solution and installed our professionally-designed Access Control System, Warburtons for delivering bread for our students’ daily toast and everyone else who has donated items, food and their time supporting PVC – there are just so many of you, thank you.

And finally, we thank our parent organisation Community Gateway and our outstanding Board of Trustees who all have played instrumental roles in guiding our mission with their insights and unique expertise. We are grateful for their big hearts and the combined thousands of hours they have given to Preston Vocational Centre and the 6,000 participants who have attended the Centre since 2009.
