What's new at PVC

Earlier this week we were invited to attend the Youth Build UK awards, where one of our students, Luca was recognised for the highly commended Young Builder of the Year award.

Over the Summer holidays, Preston Vocational Centre (PVC) partnered with Keepmoat Homes to deliver a four-week programme, Pathway to Progress - an initiative that gave young people the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.  

Our annual awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of our learners and the impact of vocational training in construction trades.

We're celebrating the incredible journey of former student Bradley, who is thriving in his Bricklaying Apprenticeship with Keepmoat Homes.

At Preston Vocational Centre, we are always proud to see our learners go on to achieve great things in their careers. National Apprenticeship Week 2025 is the perfect time to celebrate these success stories,

PVC learners enjoyed a fascinating field trip to watch a live demolition site in Grange, Ribbleton.

A huge thank you goes to GK Construction who have very kindly donated a large quantity of building materials for our students to use during their training.

We are extremely proud of one of our former students, Isaac Robinson, who has bagged himself a dream apprenticeship with JFN Integrated Solutions in Preston.
